SF New Music Fest @ Brick & Mortar

SF promoter Lee Sobel presents us with an eclectic lineup of local artists for the upcoming New Music Fest at Brick & Mortar next Thursday, May 12th! Headlining are Music City Rehearsal regulars, Alpha Pride. This band's colorful musical background has resulted in the creation of a unique style that is a raw blend of rock, reggae and hip hop.

Next on the bill is my band, The Rightsiders! They brought me in as their new lead guitarist back in November...NO KIRK HAMMETT JOKES. Our sound is the vibrant offspring of a number of influences, from classic rock to punk to eighties metal. We love having a good time and we're really stoked to be a part of this lineup. Come party with us!

Moving down the line we've got Go Away Robot, a three-piece electronic hardcore punk rock group, and indie electronic duo Analog Dream to power up the crowd while the night is still young. With electronic music having become so prevalent in today's popular culture, the rise of these hybrid bands was essentially inevitable, so it will be great to see these artists in the mix. And, of course, don't hesitate to get there early to see the openers, Sin Silver and the Avenue. The polished sound and radiant presence of this piano-driven rock band will definitely set the mood for a fun night. See you next Thursday!
