For those of you wondering, yes, West Coast Songwriter’s Conference was fully back-lined:
This year marked West Coast Songwriter’s 36th annual conference, which offered a look into the past, present, and future of the Singer-Songwriter’s landscape while enjoying the view from Fort Mason General’s Residence. When you’re engaged in periodic small talk with Ken Caillat, you know you’ve made it (as far as right place at the right time is concerned).
With such an intimate songwriter's conference, and as loud as our booth was, it was a nice change of pace to have more insightful interactions with conference goers and share our excitement for Music City. Ways we could grow, improve, and better provide for our musical community was discussed, while also hearing lots about how the Fender/Vox were first amps.
Interesting enough, our Music City Radio Station was brought up quite a bit, as many attendees were traveling musicians, and appreciated the opportunity to submit songs and be played within two weeks of a show.
Maybe we will see you at the songwriter's conference next year, but hopefully we see you in the rehearsal studios soon!
