Music City Takes Over Slim’s!

Music City is excited to announce our showcase at Slim’s! Over the past decade, Music City has hosted thousands of talented, up-and-coming bands, but needed a way to showcase that talent. In what will become a quarterly showcase, this is the first installment of some of our talent who are part of the Music City family. Come support some familiar names and faces as we showcase Bay Area music:

Music City
Serf & James - (

Serf and James are an Alt Rock, Blue Pop, Semi-Soul band hailing from Napa, CA. Known for their spontaneous songs, and the passion and prowess of their live show. They began as a duo back in 2005. From musicals, to open mics, to a full band. Their full sound has been described as a mix between Jeff Buckley, with hints of Muse and a dash of Bruno Mars. Fresh of the BottleRock 2017 stage and with a second EP on the horizon, they may one day be a household name.

Unlikely Heroes - (

Unlikely Heroes is Hip-Hop/PunkRock band from San Francisco, CA. This eclectic group is synthesizing Hip-Hop and Punk with beats and melody that are fresh, exciting, and long waited for. Boasting with high energy, venue rocking jams, they also find balance with spacey, vibe-y anthems to create a well-rounded experience and depth in their art form. These Heroes truly cater to their “more than meets the eye” appeal. Aesthetically, they are a diverse group with a range of cultural and musical backgrounds. Sonically, they are insane Hip-Rockers that can cater to any crowd or venue without losing their Star Power in translation.

Rudy Colombini Band - (

Rudy Colombini is a San Francisco-based singer, songwriter, and performer. With over 30 years of industry experience, Colombini has fronted groups such as The Twist, Divine Comedy, and more recently performs as Mick Jagger in The Unauthorized Rolling Stones, a widely successful cover group. An eccentric frontman and brilliant songwriter, Rudy Colombini's performance is not to be missed.

The Other Tones - (

Not quite Rock or Indie, just outside of Hip Hop and around the corner from Country are The Other Tones; a quartet that originated and developed in the belly of San Francisco’s underground music scene. The Other Tones generate music that defies boundaries and genres yet always maintain a commitment to tight performance, quality sound, & musical integrity.

Come join us for a night of local artists and celebrate the vibrant San Francisco music community they create!
