Friday, February 26th: Music City SF and Mac Walker present Joe Sparrow, featuring members of Solwave, including Music City's own Moise Seri on the drums!

If you know Moise- whether it's through his band Solwave or just seeing him working around Music City SF- you know he's one of the chillest dudes and most talented musicians around. Moise has been part of Music City and the SF music scene family for a long time, which is why we're very sorry to say that he will soon be leaving Music City to travel the world, jamming on as always. Come bid Moise an excellent farewell this Friday (2/26) at The Milk Bar, as he plays one last SF show with Joe Sparrow and Solwave, along with Pretty, Handsome and TROPO.

Pretty, Handsome

Producer Stephen Tucker (Tucker) and vocalist Sierra Totten made pop duo Pretty, Handsome winter of 2015. The result is catchy, danceable beats mixed with powerful, emotive vocals. Having very different musical backrounds, the two have created a unique style that they like to think appeals to a wide range of people and tastes. Pretty, Handsome recently released a 10 song LP in February 2016.

TROPO

Inspired by the mosaic of human experience, TROPO combines live instruments with electronic dance music to create an eclectic sound and connected-space. Starting as a solo project by Tyson Leonard to integrate his relentless passion for playing violin with composing dance music, TROPO has grown into a trio that features an array of instruments and genre-splices orchestral with tribal, house with jazz, and ethnic with downtempo into a sound that is both heard and felt.
